Member-driven and volunteer-led

The OpenSM Alliance is an international, not-for-profit organisation. Founded by OpenSM practitioners, the Alliance brings together individuals from institutions, companies and the academia to inspire dialogue, share resources, and address the field’s challenges while promoting the wider adoption of the OpenSM Methodology.

We support the professional growth of our members by providing opportunities for life‐long learning, career development, and professional networking.
The OpenSM Alliance offers volunteer opportunities for members and non‐members alike. The community has a direct and critical impact on OpenSM Alliance’s governance (as with the methodology’s development) as volunteers also serve on the OpenSM Alliance’s Council. We provide a forum, a learning platform, and a place to share experiences and best practice. As the world’s only society of its kind, the Alliance strengthens the community’s collective voice through strong leadership, promotion of the highest standards, and recognition of professional excellence. The OpenSM Alliance is engaged in a continuous dialogue with stakeholders in World, including the European Union and national policymakers, advocacy groups as well as other professional management & service management associations undertaking affairs activities.
