Accreditation is a quality-centric approach which provides formal assurance by an independent third party of the conformity of a product, process and service to specific requirements. APMG assesses the knowledge of trainers and the QMS of a training organisation against an agreed standard.
Certification relates to an audit to confirm whether an organisation, a product or an individual meet the criteria laid out in a recognised standard or scheme. Effectively, it is a third party confirmation via an audit that all as it should be.
Certification and Accreditation isn’t a one-off activity. It is a continuous process.

APMG conducts an in-depth audit of the training organisations delivering training as well as the trainers. This includes reviewing internal governance and the management processes, such as reviewing quality management systems (QMS) to ensure that training organisations have the appropriate material, skilled trainers and internal systems to provide consistent and repeatable experience to their clients.
